GSC Wins Capacity Building Grants for U.S. Undergraduate Study Abroad

 The U.S. Department of State and Partners of the Americas have announced that Glenville State College is among the eleven recipients of the 2017 Capacity Building Grants for U.S. Undergraduate Study Abroad. Each winning institution is awarded up to $42,000 to increase and diversify participation in study abroad on their campuses. GSC is the only college or university in West Virginia to receive the grant.
Kids Swim Camp to be held at GSC

 Glenville State College will be the site of a Swim Camp being held this summer for local children in order to teach them about water safety and swimming techniques. The day camp is scheduled to take place Tuesday, May 30 through Friday, June 16. Each week the camp will run Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until noon. The camp will take place in GSC’s Health and Physical Education Building.

Bone Receives GSC Faculty Award of Excellence

 Glenville State College’s newest Faculty Award of Excellence recipient is Associate Professor of Music Dr. Lloyd Bone. He received the award at the 143rd Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 6.

 The 143rd Glenville State College Commencement Ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 6 beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the college’s Waco Center.
