Move In Day 2017 Taylor Brumfield and Abby Vidal wheel a cart of belongings into Goodwin Hall for a new student on Move-In Day

GLENVILLE, WV – The fall 2017 semester has official begun at Glenville State College with the addition of over 300 freshmen who arrived on campus prior to classes beginning to take part in orientation activities. In addition to moving in, the students were welcomed with social events and other activities to help ease them into life as a student at GSC.

On Friday, August 11 faculty, staff, and upperclassman continued the time-honored tradition of helping the new students unpack and move their belongings into the residence hall. Afterward, parents were given the opportunity to meet several members of GSC’s administration and support staff and have their questions answered.
