MSU Writing Center Publication Chooses GSC Student Submission

Glenville State College student Gabe Maynard has recently accepted an offer to be published in the Spring 2018 edition of The Dangling Modifier. The publication is hosted by the Michigan State University Writing Center. He submitted his piece, titled 'The Culture,' after receiving a call for submissions.
Several Fully Online Degree Programs Coming to Glenville State College Next Fall

Glenville State College Lowers Tuition for 2018-19 Academic Year

Glenville State College has taken another step to make college more affordable for students and families in the Mountain State and beyond. For the second consecutive academic year, GSC has lowered its cost of tuition. On Thursday, April 19 GSC President Dr. Tracy Pellett announced that the institution would lower tuition by 0.5% in addition to a number of other measures designed to help students save money.
Biology Student Receives Award at WV Academy of Science Meeting

Glenville State College senior biology major Scott Wentz was recently recognized as the Outstanding Science Poster Presenter at the 93rd Annual Meeting of the West Virginia Academy of Science. The meeting was held on April 7 at WV Wesleyan College.
Japan Exchange and Teaching Program Selects GSC Student for ESL Opportunity

Glenville State College student Randy Stiers has been chosen to take part in the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program as an Assistant Language Teacher. The JET Program is a teaching exchange program that is managed by the government of Japan. Applicants come from over 40 countries around the globe but the exclusive program traditionally accepts less than 20% of those who apply.
