Domestic Violence Awareness Month 2024

D.V.A.M. 2024

Domestic Violence Awareness Month Calendar

October is a month recognized nationally as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Every October, University's, organizations, communities, and more unite across the country to uplift the needs, voices, and experiences of survivors. Glenville State University is recognizing this October and providing a University Initiative. Turn The Campus Purple is the University's campaign for this year. GSU encourages members of our community to recognize this month by wearing purple, come to some of the campus events happening, support domestic violence survivors, and those who are still experiencing domestic violence.

Turn The Campus Purple

Purple is seen as a symbol of supporting and recognizing domestic violence. Turn the Campus Purple is a university-wide campaign encouraging community members to show off their purple and raise awareness of all forms of domestic violence.
