GSC Marching Band Ends Successful Season
The Glenville State College Pioneer Marching Band, under the direction of Lloyd Bone and field commander Brandi Horn, recently finished a very successful season.
Academic Support Center Relocates
The Glenville State College Academic Support Center has moved to a new location. During the holiday break, the ASC relocated from the lower level of the Robert F. Kidd Library to the first floor of Louis Bennett Hall, in the old LBH conference room.
9/11 Sculpture Among Art Display at GSC
‘A Measured Response: Charles Allen Wright’ an exhibition of South Carolinian sculptor and painter Charles Allen Wright, is being featured in the Fine Arts Gallery at Glenville State College between January 14th and February 8th.

The Student Affairs Division encourages all students, faculty, staff, as well as the general public to join together to celebrate the life and legacy of a man who promoted the principles of courage, truth, justice, compassion, dignity, humility, education to all and the importance of service to community.
Sixty-Eight Graduate from GSC
Glenville State College has awarded diplomas to sixty-eight students who graduated in December. The graduates represent twenty-three counties in West Virginia and four other states: Tennessee, Washington, Ohio, and North Carolina.
GSC Hosting Free Financial Aid Workshops
Glenville State College will be hosting three FAFSA workshops to assist students with submitting their online applications. These workshops are free and open to anyone.
2008 Trillium Submissions Being Accepted
Submissions for the Spring 2008 edition of the Trillium, a literary publication of the Glenville State College English Department, are now being accepted.
GSC High Adventure Excursions Announced
The Glenville State College High Adventure program is gearing up for an exciting spring 2008 semester. Skiing, caving, rock climbing, horseback riding, white water rafting, and sky diving are on the menu.
