Glenville, WV—The Glenville State College chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, an international Education Honor Society, is teaming up with the Gilmer County Public Library to host “Chase Away the Winter Blues.” The event will be held on Saturday, February 9, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the library. Local children are invited to come out for a fun day of making crafts, story time, and snacks.

KDP members visit the Gilmer County several times each year to host fun days. Service to GSC and the community is a main concern of the society. Members are required to participate in at least two service projects per year.

“Chase Away the Winter Blues” is free but limited to the first twenty-five children who register with the library. For more information or to register, call the Gilmer County Public Library at 462-5620.
