Wildlife Management Major Coming to GSC
The Glenville State College Department of Land Resources will offer a Wildlife Management major within their Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management Program beginning fall 2020.
First Little Kanawha Reading Series Event Happening February 12
The Little Kanawha Reading Series is pleased to present its first literary reading for 2020 on Wednesday, February 12 at the Robert F. Kidd Library on the Glenville State College Campus at 6:00 p.m. The featured readers include Mary Imo-Stike, Lisa Hayes-Minney, and Marjorie Stewart.
Morris Named Provost at Glenville State
Dr. Gary Morris has been named Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost at Glenville State College following a search that began last October.
GSC to Host Murder Mystery Dinner on Valentine’s Day
Glenville State College will host “Till Death Do Us Part,” an interactive murder mystery dinner theatre performance event, on Friday, February 14 in the Mollohan Campus Community Center Ballroom.
GSC Department of Land Resources Receives EQT Grant
The Glenville State College Department of Land Resources has received a $15,000 grant from the EQT Foundation to help promote science education within high schools in West Virginia through the GSC Natural Resource Management High School Program.
Annual Day of Giving to be held at GSC
On February 19, 1872, Glenville State College was established by the West Virginia state legislature. This year, the College will again be hosting a Day of Giving fundraising campaign on that date to celebrate GSC’s 148th anniversary.
Presentation on Geodetic Surveying Coming to GSC
Appalachian Regional Geodetic Advisor for the National Geodetic Survey (NGS), Jeff Jalbrzikowski, will be at Glenville State College on Wednesday, February 12 at 12:00 p.m. for a presentation titled “Geodetic Surveying in the USA – Past, Present, and Future.”
