GSC Honors Employees for Years of Service
Glenville State College honored twelve faculty and staff at its annual Service Awards Luncheon that was held in conjunction with the annual employee holiday luncheon on Friday, December 11 in the Mollohan Campus Community Center.

Glenville State College's Criminal Justice Department has been ranked as the #1 Top School Supporting Careers in Corrections & Criminal Justice in West Virginia by CorrectionalOfficer.org.
Equipment Grant to help GSC Students
Glenville State College has received an instrumentation grant from the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission Division of Science and Research. The Division of Science and Research grants monies to institutions for the improvement of undergraduate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education in West Virginia.

GSC Literary Magazine Taking Submissions
Local artists and writers are invited to submit items for the 2016 issue of the Trillium, Glenville State College’s literary arts journal. The Trillium is a collection of artwork, poetry, fiction, song lyrics, and other forms of creative expression.
Holiday Premium Night Scheduled at GSC
The public is invited to Mollohan’s Restaurant at Glenville State College on Thursday, December 10 from 4:30 until 7:00 p.m. for GSC’s Holiday Premium Night.
Glenville State College Evening Courses to be offered in Braxton County
Glenville State College is continuing its tradition of offering a variety of evening classes in Braxton County to accommodate students who might have difficulty making it to the GSC campus to take classes during the day. Several weekly evening Glenville State College courses are scheduled to be held this spring at Braxton County High School in the Braxton County Center.
GSC Alumnus Returning to Campus for Guest Lecture
Timothy Henline, a 2009 Glenville State College graduate, is returning to his alma mater on Thursday, December 3 to deliver a presentation about his educational and business experiences. The presentation will begin at 12:30 p.m. in room 100 of the Heflin Administration Building.
