GLENVILLE, WV – Glenville State College is continuing its tradition of offering a variety of evening classes in Braxton County to accommodate students who might have difficulty making it to the GSC campus to take classes during the day. Several weekly evening Glenville State College courses are scheduled to be held this spring at Braxton County High School in the Braxton County Center.

Spring classes at BCHSClass offerings include: Labor Management Relations (Mondays 4:00-6:30 p.m.), Operations Management (Mondays 6:45-9:15 p.m.), West Virginia and the Appalachian Region (Tuesdays 6:45-9:15 p.m.), Principles of Microeconomics (Wednesdays 4:00-6:30 p.m.), Business Law (Wednesdays 6:45-9:15 p.m.), and Introduction to Public Speaking (Thursdays 4:00-6:30 p.m.). All of the classes are three credit hours and will begin on Monday, January 11 and run through Friday, April 29. Interested students can register now through January 15.

"We are very pleased that we will be offering off-campus courses again this semester at the Braxton County Center. These classes certainly make it easier for more people to take advantage of the educational opportunities of Glenville State College," said Assistant Coordinator of Off-Campus Programming Kathy Gilbert.

Scholarships are available to cover most of the costs of enrolling in these courses for residents of Braxton County who are high school graduates and have been out of high school for at least three years. Students are responsible for textbook costs. All who are interested in furthering their education are encouraged to enroll in these classes.
