GSC Career Fair Scheduled for February 3
The annual Glenville State College Career Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, February 3 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the Mollohan Campus Community Center Ballroom.
GSC Financial Aid Workers Nationally Certified
Two employees of Glenville State College’s Office of Financial Aid, Amber Hamric and Michelle Hypes, recently were certified in several nationally-recognized programs.
GSC Literary Magazine Taking Submissions
Local artists and writers are invited to submit items for the 2016 issue of the Trillium, Glenville State College’s literary arts journal. The Trillium is a collection of artwork, poetry, fiction, song lyrics, and other forms of creative expression.
Hidden Promise Program Adds Nine to List of Graduates
Nine Glenville State College Hidden Promise Scholars (HPS) were recognized as graduates of the Hidden Promise program at a ceremony held on December 2. The students, Courtney Cutlip, Elizabeth Jackson, Sarah Lane, Michael Livesay, Patricia McCourt, Corri Phillips, Nicole Smith, Samantha Wolford, and Amara Yoak, are all scheduled to complete their GSC degrees at the conclusion of the fall semester.
GSC Alumnus Returning to Campus for Guest Lecture
Timothy Henline, a 2009 Glenville State College graduate, is returning to his alma mater on Thursday, December 3 to deliver a presentation about his educational and business experiences. The presentation will begin at 12:30 p.m. in room 100 of the Heflin Administration Building.
Graduate Returning to GSC for Guest Lecture
Ken Kuhl, Vice President of Event Development at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas and a 1982 Glenville State College graduate, is returning to his alma mater on Friday, November 13 to deliver a presentation about his background, education, and work experience. The presentation will begin at noon in GSC's Mollohan Campus Community Center Ballroom.
GSC Graduate to Display Artwork during Homecoming Week
Glenville State College alumnus Joseph Pettit will be presenting several of his oil paintings in front of the Robert F. Kidd Library on Friday, September 25 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. as part of this year's Homecoming Week festivities.
