GSC To Host Murder Mystery Dinner on February 15
Glenville State College will host a murder mystery event on Friday, February 15 in the Mollohan Campus Community Center Ballroom. A social hour will begin at 6:00 p.m. which includes beverages and appetizers, followed by the murder mystery show and dinner at 7:00 p.m.
Founders Day of Giving Planned at GSC
Glenville State College was established on February 19, 1872. This year, on the 147th anniversary of GSC’s establishment by the state legislature, the College will be hosting a Founders Day of Giving crowd funding campaign.
GSC PBL Students Attend New York Conference
Three Glenville State College students and their advisor attended Phi Beta Lambda’s first annual PBL Career Connections conference in late October. PBL members Mackenzie Ammerman, Leslee Coffman, Seth Stover attended along with Associate Professor of Business and PBL advisor Kandas Queen.
Participants, Schedule Announced for IOGA Basketball Tournament
The Waco Center at Glenville State College will be the site of a boy’s and girl’s five-day high school basketball tournament this December. The Independent Oil & Gas Association (IOGA) Classic tournament is being hosted at GSC, Tuesday, December 11 through Saturday, December 15.
Registration Open for Two-Week Winter Term at GSC
Glenville State College will be offering a variety of courses during the upcoming winter term to accommodate students who might wish to repeat a course or who just want to speed up their degree progression. The courses are delivered both online and in person.
Piano Recital Featuring Anita White Planned at GSC
Anita White, Glenville State College Adjunct Instructor of Piano and Department Accompanist will hold a piano recital in the GSC Fine Arts Center Auditorium on Monday, December 3 at 7:00 p.m. The recital, featuring Christmas music and hymns, is free and open to the public.
GSC to Host Appalachian Studies Conference
Glenville State College will host the 2018 Appalachian Studies Conference on Thursday, November 15. The conference will take place at The Pioneer Stage (10 East Main Street, Downtown Glenville) and will begin at 8:00 a.m.
