Glenville State College Names First Skiles Scholarship Recipient

Christian Ramsey, a 2020 Riverside High School (RHS) graduate, has been selected as the first recipient of the Jesse Skiles Scholarship. He received the award for the 2020-2021 academic year at Glenville State.

Glenville State College senior Kristina "Tina" Lowe will be serving as the field commander for the Pioneer ‘Wall of Sound’ Marching Band this semester. The Elizabeth, WV native is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and a minor in business.

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the Mountain East Conference’s recent decision to cancel the fall 2020 sports season, Glenville State College will postpone the annual Homecoming Celebration that was scheduled for October 2-4.
Update on COVID-19 Testing Results, Screenings at Glenville State College

As of Monday, August 24, Glenville State College has no active COVID-19 cases on campus. This follows testing performed as students were returning to campus for the fall 2020 semester which began on Monday, August 17. Faculty and staff were also tested as part of the lead-up to the new semester.
