Participants, Schedule Announced for IOGA Basketball Tournament
The Waco Center at Glenville State College will be the site of a boy’s and girl’s six-day high school basketball tournament this December. The Independent Oil and Gas Association (IOGA) Classic tournament is being hosted at GSC and will take place Monday, December 16 through Saturday, December 21.
OSIX Program at GSC to Benefit from FirstEnergy Foundation Donation
The FirstEnergy Foundation recently presented a $5,000 donation to the GSC Foundation in order to assist criminal justice and business majors who are interested in participating in the Open Source Information Exchange (OSIX) program at Glenville State College.
Brunty to Perform Senior Recital
Glenville State College student Sarah Brunty will present her senior recital on Saturday, November 9 at 3:00 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Auditorium.
Chi Beta Phi Members Participate in National Conference
On Saturday, October 19, seven members of the Glenville State College Alpha Iota Chapter of Chi Beta Phi attended the 72nd National Conference of Chi Beta Phi. The conference was hosted by the Rho Chapter of the organization at West Liberty University, located in West Liberty, West Virginia.
GSC Theatre Program to Perform “Doctor Faustus”
Actors in Glenville State College’s theatre program are preparing for their upcoming play “Doctor Faustus.” The play will be presented on Monday, November 4, Tuesday, November 5, and Wednesday, November 6 in the Heflin Administration Building President’s Auditorium beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Marshall Barnhouse to Perform at GSC as part of Alumni Series
On Friday, November 1, Marshall Barnhouse will kick off the Glenville State College Alumni Performance Series. Barnhouse will be performing original compositions on the piano beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the GSC Fine Arts Center Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.
Red Cross Blood Drive Coming to GSC on October 28
Staff and students in the Glenville State College Hidden Promise Scholars program are sponsoring an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Monday, October 28 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. The blood drive will take place in the Mollohan Campus Community Center third floor ballroom.
