Fall Interns Complete Student Teaching for GSC

Glenville State College’s winter commencement ceremony took place on the morning of Saturday, December 10 in the college’s Waco Center.
Annual Literary Magazine Open for Submissions
The Trillium, Glenville State College’s literary and arts journal, is open for submissions for the 2017 issue. All GSC students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members are invited to submit visual art, poetry, fiction, song lyrics, and other forms of creative expression.

Glenville State College's 2016 Homecoming Court Coronation took place at noon on Monday, October 17 in the campus amphitheater. Kellie Kinsinger and Brod Boswell were crowned queen and king.
GSC Well Represented at Upcoming Art Exhibit
Several Glenville State College artists are taking part in an upcoming exhibit that features participants who have been affected by mental health issues, either personally or through close friends and family members. The show, which is titled ‘Different Voices and Common Experiences,’ will be on display at the Monongalia Arts Center’s (MAC) Benedum Gallery from August 5-27, 2016.
Hidden Promise Program Now in All WV Counties
Since the early stages of Glenville State College’s Hidden Promise program, both college officials and public school administrators have had the same common desires for students in the Mountain State: increase the high school and college graduation rates, better prepare them for college enrollment, encourage increased college attendance, and improve their overall success in pursuits of higher education.
A Special Graduation Ceremony
Olive Smith’s graduation from Glenville State College this spring will be a day that she remembers fondly for years to come. The 85 years young graduate was to receive her Regents Bachelor of Arts degree along with the rest of the Glenville State College graduating class. Smith, although still active, opted not to make the three hour trip to the GSC Waco Center for the ceremony.
