The victims of this week's deadly shooting at Virginia Tech are being remembered at Glenville State College in Gilmer County.

Mountain Fury, the first professional bluegrass band coming out of Glenville State College’s Bluegrass Certificate Program, will be performing in the College’s Fine Arts Building Auditorium on Saturday, April 28th from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. as part of Alumni Day activities.

GSC Alumni Day Plans Announced
GSC’s alums will gather on campus for their special reunion weekend on April 28th. Kicking off this weekend will be a meet and greet social at the Alumni Center on Friday, April 27th from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. At 7:00 p.m., we hope that you will join us “across the street” in the Fine Arts Center for GSC’s Spring Band Concert, which promises to be an evening of very special entertainment.

Greg Lamecker Senior Recital April 13th
The Glenville State College Department of Fine Arts presents student Greg Lamecker in his senior recital performing selections on the saxophone. His performance will include music from GSC instructor Mrs. Anita White on the piano.
GSC Science Students/Faculty Attend WVAS in Huntington
Fourteen faculty and students from the Department of Science and Mathematics at Glenville State College attended the 82nd West Virginia Academy of Science (WVAS) meeting on Saturday, March 31, 2007 held on Marshall University's campus.
