Fourteen faculty and students from the Department of Science and Mathematics at Glenville State College attended the 82nd West Virginia Academy of Science (WVAS) meeting on Saturday, March 31, 2007 held on Marshall University's campus. The students participated in one oral and four poster presentations. Student Gina Cottrill received the undergraduate student award for the best oral presentation.

Those attending from GSC included five faculty (Lisa Castle, Kevin Evans, Joe Evans, Paul Peck and Amanda Stewart) and nine students (Jeremy Connolly, Gina Cottrill, Mike Cunningham, Brenton Drake, Krista Duncan, Beth Gregory, Sarah Ramezan, Betsy Riffle, and Dustin Wagoner).
