To celebrate Halloween, the Department of Language & Literature wants to show off students’ creativity by sharing some Halloween-themed pieces of creative writing, including poems and short stories, as well as drawings and photographs. Let your imagination run wild; involve one of your favorite movies like The Nightmare Before Christmas, or The Addams Family or use any other spooky, scary, or creepy things you think could give one a fright. Submissions can be turned in to any English or speech professor, dropped off at the Department of Language & Literature, or emailed to melody.wise@glenville.edu or melissa.gish@glenville.edu. All pieces will be featured on the third floor of the Harry B. Heflin Administration Building in the Department of Language & Literature office, along with other locations around campus. Deadline to submit any work is Friday, October 28.
