Bachelor of Science Degree Business Administration - Accounting Major

The Accounting major within the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration was designed to meet undergraduate educational requirements for licensure in the state of West Virginia. In addition, the program meets current undergraduate educational requirements for licensure in other states as noted below as of July 2024.  Clicking on the state will take you to the Accountancy Board for that state; clicking on (statute) will take you to the law or rule specifying education requirements for sitting for the CPA exam in that state. 

*States marked with an asterisk will require an internship or three upper level credit hours in Accounting in addition to the GSU requirements. Please note that states can and do change licensure requirements, and students should check the requirements for licensure in states in which they are considering practicing.
