Glenville State took on Fairmont State’s Lady Falcons on February 5 and acquired an impressive win. With a final score of 102-76, the Lady Pioneers redeemed themselves from their last encounter with the Lady Falcons. Both teams had impressive games, but the Pioneers outscored the Falcons.

Ty Armstrong lead both teams in points, with a substantial 24 total and an impressive four for seven at the three. Following, Zakiyah Winfield and Re’Shawna Stone accumulated 21 total points each, with Winfield leading the team with four assists. Emily Stoller had 11 total points to wrap up Glenville’s top scorers. 

Glenville continued to outscore Fairmont with 62 points to their 36 in the paint, 26 points to their 9 off turnovers, 20 fast break points to their 6 and 20 second chance points to their 10. Glenville continued to play hard, but sadly got outscored 34 to 23 in bench points. They will travel to Frostburg State on February 8 to continue the season series.
