Dr. Jonathan Minton will be travelling to China for 10 days through the Confucius Institute. He was chosen as part of the West Virginia Delegation for cultural exchange and intellectual goodwill. This will be Minton’s first time going to China, and he is the only professor from Glenville who is part of the group of nine West Virginia teachers going.

He received an invititation for the trip because he worked with a Confucius teacher on translation work that was included in his literary journal. When asked what he hoped to bring back from the trip, his response was, “taking the first steps in establishing a sister school in China.”
