Have you ever wanted to try disco? How about Zumba? Well, now you have a chance to do both. The GSC chapter of Phi Beta Lambda will be hosting a Disco Zumba this March 27th. Zumba, for those he don't know, is a form of exercise that combines dancing with aerobics. The event will be at the Health and Phys Ed building in the Lilly Gymnasium from 6-8:00 p.m. Tickets are paid at the door and are $15 per person for individuals or $10 per person for groups of two or more. Also, glow bracelets/necklaces and refreshments will be provided on the house. Students, staff, faculty, and community are all welcome.
The event will be a fundraiser and promotional event for Phi Beta Lambda. PBL is an organization dedicated to preparing its students for the business world. They help students build their knowledge and resumes, and are nationally recognized by employers. According to member Seth Stover, "In fall 2018, In the fall of 2018, our PBL chapter was able to attend the Career Connections conference which was held in New York City." They also toured Manhattan and important businesses. The proceeds for the Disco Zumba event will have PBL pay for travel expenses for business trips and competitions.
