The new school year has officially begun which means it’s time to purchase all of your materials you’ll need for the year, including your parking permit. Each student is required to obtain a parking permit in order to validly park on campus. There are some changes to this year’s parking policy including the colors of the permit and the display location. The following information is excerpts from the Parking Policy section of the Student Handbook for 2013-2014:
- PURPLE permits will be issued to Commuter Students at a cost of $60 per year. Commuter students are required to park in lots A, B, C, G, H, I, J, K, and N.
- ORANGE permits will be issued to Resident Hall Students at a cost of $100 per year. Residence Hall students are required to park in lots D, E, K, and N.
- GREEN permits will be issued to Faculty and Staff at a cost of $60 per year. Faculty and Staff are required to park in lots A, B, C, G, H, I, J, K, and N.
- GOLD permits will be issued for Reserved parking at a cost of $200 per year. Individuals with reserved permits are required to park in their assigned space.
A properly displayed permit must be placed on the inside lower corner of the rear window, driver’s side.

If you don’t have a permit yet, make sure to get yours today. Ticketing will begin in earnest on Tuesday, September 3.
