Women’s Leadership Circle Scholarship Established at GSC
Applications are now being accepted for the Women’s Leadership Circle Scholarship. The scholarship, open to all female students at Glenville State College, will be awarded in the spring semester and totals $500.
Participants, Schedule Announced for IOGA Basketball Tournament
The Waco Center at Glenville State College will be the site of a boy’s and girl’s six-day high school basketball tournament this December. The Independent Oil and Gas Association (IOGA) Classic tournament is being hosted at GSC and will take place Monday, December 16 through Saturday, December 21.
OSIX Program at GSC to Benefit from FirstEnergy Foundation Donation
The FirstEnergy Foundation recently presented a $5,000 donation to the GSC Foundation in order to assist criminal justice and business majors who are interested in participating in the Open Source Information Exchange (OSIX) program at Glenville State College.

Chi Beta Phi Members Participate in National Conference
On Saturday, October 19, seven members of the Glenville State College Alpha Iota Chapter of Chi Beta Phi attended the 72nd National Conference of Chi Beta Phi. The conference was hosted by the Rho Chapter of the organization at West Liberty University, located in West Liberty, West Virginia.
GSC Theatre Program to Perform “Doctor Faustus”
Actors in Glenville State College’s theatre program are preparing for their upcoming play “Doctor Faustus.” The play will be presented on Monday, November 4, Tuesday, November 5, and Wednesday, November 6 in the Heflin Administration Building President’s Auditorium beginning at 7:00 p.m.
