GSC Trillium now Accepting Submissions
The Trillium, Glenville State College’s literary and arts journal, is now accepting submissions for the 2020 issue. All GSC students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members are invited to submit visual art, poetry, fiction, song lyrics, and other forms of creative expression.
Homecoming 2019 Events Announced
Glenville State's 2019 Homecoming activities will take place Monday, October 14 through Sunday, October 20. The theme is "Game On, Glenville."
GSC Department of Land Resources Receives Research Grant
The Glenville State College Department of Land Resources has received a grant from the West Virginia Science and Research Opportunity Grants Program to focus on enhancing undergraduate research in ecology in the natural resource management program through a unique international research experience in Japan.
Presentation on Unmanned Aircraft Usage in Forestry Coming to GSC
Rodger Ozburn, an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Program Manager for the West Virginia Division of Forestry, will be at Glenville State College on Thursday, September 26 at 12:15 p.m. for a presentation titled “Foresters Taking Flight.” The presentation will take place in room 227/228 of the Waco Center and is free and open to the public.
GSC to Host Dueling Pianos Night
Glenville State College will host a Dueling Pianos Night on Friday, September 20 in the Physical Education Building, Lilly Gym.
GSC Marching Band to Perform at Annual Band Bash on August 23
The Glenville State College 'Wall of Sound' Marching Band will have a feature performance at the Glenville Presbyterian Church "Band Bash" on Friday, August 23. The event will take place from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with the band performance beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Rollins to Hike the Appalachian Trail
Sara Rollins, Administrative Secretary for the Glenville State College Department of Business, will be spending the next several months hiking the Appalachian Trail.
