Little Kanawha Reading Series to Host Marie Manilla

Frank Vincent Memorabilia to be Housed at Glenville State University

Several pieces of memorabilia chronicling Coach Frank Vincent’s career were donated to Glenville State University by two of his former Charleston High School players. In addition to being a star lineman at Glenville State in the early 1950s, Vincent was a record-setting head coach at Charleston High and he served as head coach at Glenville from 1980-86.

It is with great sadness that Glenville State University observes the passing of Hershel “Woody” Williams, the last living Medal of Honor recipient from World War II. Williams was a major proponent of Glenville State’s West Virginia Veterans’ Legacy Project that took place in 2012.
