   On March 17, Interim President Kathleen Nelson informed faculty that the Board of Governors “determined that the on-campus interviews for our presidential finalists will be rescheduled.  The interviews originally scheduled for March 25, 26, and 27 will be postponed until April 22, 23, and 24.  I will share more specific information about the candidates' schedules closer to the April interview dates.”

              With students having permission to return to campus after March 27 if they decide to, this will present them with an opportunity to meet potential candidates for Glenville State College’s next president. This wise decision provided by the Board of Governors during the Coronavirus pandemic supports the claim in The Phoenix’s previous article, “Presidential semi-finalists considered in final round,” that Board members are “doing the best they can and have the best mindset. They all care about this school.”
