Ashley Knight, the director of fundraising, is very excited about this year’s Day of Giving and she has expressed that we have a diverse set of needs throughout the campus pertaining to many different departments and groups. She’s been an avid go-getter on this campus making sure that people are getting excited and making their contributions, allowing the Day of Giving to be a huge success. Knight has made it her duty to talk with each individual group about what the day may be like. She was also heavily involved with the production of the Day of Giving videos that were done by the above groups to help boost interest.9. Knight Expresses that we were trying to crush our goal of $85,000 for immediate needs on campus and we were more than able to do that by striving past $104,000. The Founders Day Celebrations wrapped up with a celebratory cake and a poetry slam hosted by the Department of Language and Literature. Members of the campus community were able sign a thank you banner, which will be on display at the Waco center.
