On May 5-7, Glenville State College will be hosting the Mountain East Conference (MEC) track and field championship at Morris Stadium. This will be the second time we have hosted the MEC championship, the only other time being in 2014. The schools involved are University of Charleston, Concord, Glenville State, West Liberty, Wheeling Jesuit, and West Virginia Wesleyan. The event will begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday, 8:30 a.m. on Monday, and noon on Tuesday. The championship will consist of all events done at a track meet (including but not limited to): the decathlon, long jump, pole vault, long distance/short distance, hurdles, and javelin. Admission will be $5 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and kids over 12, and free for Glenville students and children under twelve.
