Glenville State updates withdrawal policy

By Cheyenne Moore

With current circumstances, Glenville State College has decided to extend the period of time to withdraw from classes until May 7. Students will be allowed to withdraw from either individual classes ort heir entire schedule. If you must withdrawal, talk to your advisor or the registrar's office as soon as possible, because the paperwork all must be done by May 7.

Students will also be given the option to request that a course be counted as credit or not credit, instead of receiving a letter grade. The deadline for that request is also May 7. Academic suspension will also be more relaxed this semester, but academic probation is still being enforced.

These changes are being made to give students the chance to gain control of uncontrollable circumstances. At this time, if above directions are followed, students will not be penalized for situations that are out of their control.

Follow your Glenville email account and The Phoenix for more information on these adjustments.
