The Glenville State College Acrobatics and tumbling team is heading back to the Mountain East Conference tournament, after winning the national championship last year. Glenville became only the twelfth institution in the nation to add the emerging sport in 2015, and our team has surpassed all expectations that were held for the program at the start.   

The Mountain East Conference will begin completion on Friday, April 12. It has announced matchups and individual event qualifiers for the inaugural MEC Acrobatics & Tumbling Championship to be held this weekend at Joe Retton Arena on the campus of Fairmont State University. The conference championship is the first of its kind in the country at any level in this sport. #2 Glenville State lady Pioneer Acrobatics and Tumbling will take on the #3 West Virginia Wesleyan Lady Bobcats this weekend and will be faced with a series of different events. #1 Fairmont State Acrobatics and Tumbling will be there competing against the #4 West Liberty in the team events.
