On Monday, October 10, GSU students, faculty, and staff participated in the “Stop the Stigma” Run/Walk. The event spanned from the lawn at Clark Hall and ended at the Waco Center. Students, athletes, musicians, and members of many student organizations came together for the walk. This event was held to raise awareness for World Mental Health Day. Students who participated in the walk were given T-shirts with the green ribbon, a symbol for mental health. Students were also given a giftbag with the WV Emotional StrengthLine logo and number. The number for the Emotional Strength Line is 877-HELP304.
