It's April, which means it's Child Abuse Awareness Month and Delta Xi Rho will be hosting an event on Saturday, April 6. Its set to start at 12:30 and last to 3:30 in City Square Park (Main Street, Downtown Glenville). Delta Xi Rho is a sorority on campus which focuses their philanthropy on spreading awareness about child abuse. Christina Daniels, member and treasurer of Delta Xi Rho, says "This event allows Delta Xi Rho to come together with the community to help bring awareness to child abuse and inform them with tips on how to prevent it from occurring or continuing. Any and all donations Delta Xi Rho receives during the event on April 6 will be donated to TEAMWV in attempt to assist with the prevention of child abuse. If this event is able to touch the heart of even one person, we've done our part in spreading awareness".
