Curriculum Vitae
Maureen Kraus Gildein received a B.A. in Health/Physical Education from Glenville State University. She earned a M.Ed. from Gardner Webb University and University of North Carolina-Greensboro in Educational Leadership. She also earned an EdS from Marshall University and will complete an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on instructional technology in Spring 2024.
Professor Gildein previously served as a teacher and principal in North Carolina public schools. At Glenville, she teaches physical/health education methods courses, wellness and health, and education courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She also serves as chair of Faculty Senate, co-advisor to the Chi Zeta Pi sorority, and is a member of the GSU Alumni Council and GSU Foundation Board.
