Throughout the summer, work has been progressing on a $1.5 million renovation to the cafeteria and snack bar areas at Glenville State University. The renovations include updates to the cafeteria serving and dining room areas, an updated grill, an express convenience store area, and the addition of Freshens.

It is with great sadness that Glenville State University observes the passing of Hershel “Woody” Williams, the last living Medal of Honor recipient from World War II. Williams was a major proponent of Glenville State’s West Virginia Veterans’ Legacy Project that took place in 2012.
