GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State University is honored to host the West Virginia Intermediate Court of Appeals (ICA) for an on-campus session on April 8, 2025. The session will take place at the Fine Arts Center, providing students and the community an opportunity to witness the judicial process in action.

As part of the event, students will observe oral arguments in four cases, with opportunities to engage with arguing attorneys through question-and-answer sessions. The day will conclude with a luncheon at the Mollohan Campus Community Center Ballroom, featuring remarks from Glenville State University President Dr. Mark A. Manchin and the presiding judges.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for our students to gain firsthand insight into the legal system,” said Dr. Mark A. Manchin, President of Glenville State University. “We are grateful to the West Virginia Intermediate Court of Appeals for bringing this session to our campus, and we look forward to an engaging and educational experience.”

“We are thankful for our gracious hosts at Glenville State University, and we are eager to work with them to provide a learning experience for students in the area,” said ICA Chief Judge Charles O. Lorensen.
