Glenville, WV - The public is invited to attend the open house of the new multi-million dollar Glenville State College Waco Center. Tours will be given on Saturday, April 26th from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. during GSC Alumni Day. The 27-million dollar Waco Center will house a 2500-seat athletic arena, offices for the GSC Athletic Department, a medical center, and space for conferences, concerts, and other events. One end of the structure opened last August and contains new classrooms, a library, and labs for the GSC Land Resources Department. Construction began on the Waco Center shortly after ground was officially broken in July 2011. Members of the GSC Board of Governors voted to name the facility the Waco Center during a meeting in the fall 2012. The complex is located on Mineral Road next to the Pioneer football field.
