Jazz BandGLENVILLE, WV – Students in the Glenville State College Department of Fine Arts will hold their Spring Jazz Band Concert on Tuesday, April 24 at 7:00 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Auditorium.

This year’s concert will serve as a tribute to some of the great American R&B and soul artists. The concert will feature selections from Artie Shaw, Henry Mancini, Maynard Ferguson, and more.

“This concert will have something musically for everyone to enjoy! From old school R&B performed by the Jazz Combo to exciting student soloists featured in the full jazz band. This performance will be sure to have something for everyone,” said GSC Assistant Professor of Music and Jazz Band Director Jason Barr.

The concert is open to the public. Admission is by donation and all proceeds from the concert will support the jazz ensembles at GSC.
