GLENVILLE, WV - The annual Glenville State College Pioneer Showcase is taking place on Tuesday, April 19. The event gives students from all disciplines the opportunity to present their class and independent projects in a formal setting. The forum is open to all full-time undergraduates enrolled at GSC. This year will feature several students presenting on topics ranging from in-depth scientific research, literary projects, social science experiments, natural resource management studies, and fine arts exhibits.
A portion of this year’s student creative arts and research forum will feature a session with four different speakers discussing and presenting on the topic of ecology. The session, titled ‘Ecology from the ground up: Responses to our changing Earth,’ is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. and will take place in room 315 of the Mollohan Campus Community Center.
