The Pioneer Shooting Club hosted their annual Breast Cancer Awareness Auction on Thursday, October 24th. With a great turnout of bidders, and over 30 items auctioned off, the event raised funds for breast cancer research and support for those affected within the Gilmer County community.
With another successful auction, the Pioneer Shooting Club has donated $1,000 to the First Baptist Church of Glenville Cancer Fund. The check ceremony was held on Thursday, November 7th at the First Baptist Church of Glenville with representatives including Pastor John Putnam present offering encouraging words.
The Pioneer Shooting Club would once again like to thank everyone who has shown support and are looking forward to next years auction.
