Glenville, WV--The official open house for the newly-renovated Science Hall at Glenville 
State College will be held on Friday, April 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 26th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. during GSC Alumni Day. GSC President Dr. Peter Barr and his wife Betsy invite the public to visit the Science Hall and see the extensive improvements to the building that now has state-of-the art labs and classrooms for GSC students.
The 9.2 million dollar renovation project began in the summer of 2006 and was completed in time for the opening of the spring 2008 semester. The building has been completely rebuilt with the exception of the exterior walls. âThe faculty and students have been overwhelmed at the technology in the building. This 21st century facility will make us better teachers and better students and help put research back into the GSC curriculum,â said Theresa Cowen, GSC Assistant Professor of Nursing and Chair of the Science and Math Department.
GSC students, faculty members, and administrators will be on hand during the hours of the open house to assist the public and showcase the wonderful facilities that the Science Hall now offers.
