GLENVILLE, WV - The Glenville State College family has welcomed several new faculty members over the last semester. The following are among some of those new professors. Others will be introduced periodically.

Dr. Guy Hornsby

Dr. Guy Hornsby who hails from Morgantown, West Virginia and Luling, Louisiana.

What are you teaching at GSC? Strength and Conditioning Leadership, Human Performance Testing, Applied Nutrition, Wellness Programming and Administration, Research Methods in Health and Human Performance, Kinesiology, and Exercise Physiology.

Favorite place(s) you’ve traveled to: Asheville, NC, Nashville, TN, New Orleans, LA, and Taichung, Taiwan

What would you be doing if you weren’t a college professor? Strength and Conditioning Coach

Pets: One dog, Nola

Hobbies: Weightlifting (the sport)

TV show you can’t miss? Dexter (when it was still on)

Sport team you’ll always root for? Pittsburgh Pirates

Your favorite thing about GSC and the Glenville community? How close knit the college and the community are.

Something interesting that others may not know about you? When I was eight years old I won a Batman painting contest and got to sit in the Batmobile from Batman Returns.

Hobbies: Gardening, making organizations work more effectively
