Stacy R. Adkins has been named the assistant softball coach for the 2011 season.
Stacy is from Charleston, WV where she attended Herbert Hoover High School. After high school she attended Glenville State College, and while at GSC she was a part of the softball team.
Stacy graduated from GSC this December were she earned a Bachelorâs Degree in Behavioral Science. âStacy will bring a lot to the table for us,â stated first year Head Coach Tim Spencer.
âShe is very passionate about the game and will bring some great energy to the team,â said Coach Spencer.
âI am very honored and excited to join the athletic department and help the softball program here at Glenville State College, with the heart and potential that is already here in this program, we have the opportunity to do some very exciting things this season and I look forward to it all,â stated Stacy.
Stacy is married to Adam Adkins and they have a beautiful 18 month old daughter Hailey Renee Adkins; they reside in Glenville.
