Congratulations to the GSC Lady Pioneers basketball team for winning the NCAA Divsion II East Region tournament held recently at Glenville State College. The Lady Pioneers captured the championship title after defeating Indiana University of Pennsylvania on Monday evening, March 12th, with a final score of 65-59. The team will travel to Kearney, Nebraska to participate in the NCAA Division II Women's Elite Eight Tournament scheduled on March 21, 22, and 24. The national title game will air live on ESPN or on one of its sister stations.

Fans are invited to attend a celebration for the Lady Pioneers on Sunday, March 18th from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Rusty Musket in the GSC Mollohan Campus Community Center for a NCAA Elite Eight send-off event. Good luck team!
