Glenville, WV â The leader of the Glenville State College Lady Pioneers is stepping down. GSC Head Womenâs Basketball Coach Tracy Wyatt Raban has submitted her resignation. Wyatt Raban says the decision was a difficult one to make. âI was honored to be offered the opportunity to return to my alma mater to accept the head coaching position. However, for personal reasons, I need to step down from this position.â
GSC President Peter Barr expressed his regret over Wyatt Rabanâs decision. Barr said, âI am disappointed she will not be with us during the upcoming womenâs basketball season. However, I understand and support her decision. We wish her nothing but the best in the future.â
âAs an athlete, she was a great point guard, an outstanding role model, and a tremendous competitor. I'm confident she will use those same qualities in her future career endeavors,â said Barr.
Wyatt Raban said, âThis was a great opportunity for me to further my coaching career with my college family. I hope everyone at Glenville State College and in the local community understands my decision. I wish the team the best of luck during the upcoming season.â
