GLENVILLE, WV – Students in Glenville State College’s theater program will be performing ‘Happily Ever After’ by George Halitzka as their second full show of the spring 2018 semester. The performance will run for two evenings, Wednesday, March 28 and Thursday, March 29, and begins at 7:00 p.m.

Everyone knows that the main cast of Grimm’s Fairy Tales had happy endings: Cinderella finds her Prince Charming, Red Riding Hood coming back from the wolf, the three little pigs and their boiled wolf dinner… but what about their children? What if Red Riding Hood’s daughter is confused and conflicted about what a hero could be, what if Cinderella’s daughter is a brat, what if the three little pigs’ next generation didn’t respect what their parents had gone through, and how would the Big Bad Wolf’s son deal with the family reputation?

All of these burning issues are answered in the heartfelt comedy ‘Happily Ever After.’ The performance is directed by Katie Miller, a sophomore at GSC majoring in behavioral science with a minor in communication arts from Gassaway, West Virginia.

The play will be presented in the President’s Auditorium in the Heflin Administration Building. Admission is free, but canned goods will collected for the Mountaineer Food Bank by GSC’s Theater Honor Society Alpha Psi Omega.

For more information about the performance, contact GSC Professor of Communications Dennis Wemm at Dennis.Wemm@glenville.edu or (304) 462-6323.
