Members of the Glenville State College Swim Club would like to invite the public to their April 10th Swim for a Cure swim meet. Swim for a Cure is the GSC Swim Club’s way of giving back while also reviving the campus’ swim program.
All proceeds from this meet will be donated to the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. This is a competitive event involving other colleges from across the state. It is also an informative event that will raise awareness of cancer research to someday find a cure for this disease that has affected everyone in some way. Swim for a Cure will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the GSC Physical Education Building. Admission is $5 per person. There will also be a small bake sale along with an information booth. All of these proceeds will also go toward Relay for Life.
