GSC Students Performing in WV Collegiate Honor Choir

Glenville, WV -- Eleven students from Glenville State College’s Chamber Singers are representing GSC in the West Virginia Collegiate Honor Choir in Charleston. The event is sponsored by the West Virginia Chapter of the American Choral Directors Association. The students will rehearse all day on Friday, January 25th along with singers from other colleges and universities throughout the Mountain State. They will then perform in a concert as the culminating event of the two-day ACDA Conference. The concert will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 26th at Baptist Temple in downtown Charleston.

The GSC students performing in the honor choir are: Mary Bailey, Josh Brown, Tina Braden, Tammy Hatfield, Jessica Jaffre, Stephanie Jarrell, James Messenger, Kenneth Noland, Catisha Scavairello, Matthew Sumner, and Brittany Taylor. Glenville State College choral director Dr. Carol Benton is sponsoring the students in the WV ACDA honor choir.
