A Glenville State College student is the new Ms. West Virginia. GSC Sophomore Holli Marie Owens won the title last weekend during the pageant held at Davis and Elkins College. The competition included personal interview, swimsuit, and evening gown categories. The top five contestants also had to answer two on-stage questions. Special awards for each category were handed out as well. Holli won the best swimsuit, best evening gown, and photogenic awards. She will be competing in the national pageant for the title of Ms. United States in Las Vegas in July and promoting volunteerism all over the State of West Virginia during her reigning year. Holli is majoring in Business at Glenville State College and is from the Tucker County, West Virginia community of Parsons.
