Glenville, WV â Over the past year, the GSC Stars of Hope have been holding fundraisers, silent auctions, and raffles in their fight against cancer. On July 13th, their work paid off. The GSC Stars of Hope had raised a total of $3,681.21 for the American Cancer Society. This was six hundred dollars more than raised last year. During the Gilmer County Relay for Life, the entire county raised $42,383 for the cause! The GSC Stars of Hope won first place in the Race for Recovery, a race where contestants âdriveâ cars they made around the track.
The GSC Stars of Hope would like to thank supporters for their contributions and hope to see everyone next year.
