GSC Professor to Perform with House of Blues Band in Glenville

Glenville, WV – The N’Tranze Band, featuring Glenville State College Assistant Professor of Music Jason Barr, will give a free concert at the GSC Rusty Musket on Thursday, February 25 at 7:00 p.m. followed by an encore performance at the Pioneer Grille restaurant on Friday, February 26 at 8:00 p.m.

Before coming to GSC, Barr played with the group for fifteen years as part of the house band for the Myrtle Beach House of Blues. This will be the second time that the band has travelled to Glenville for public performances.

Barr teaches woodwind students and directs the Woodwind Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Jazz Combo in addition to teaching Music Theory and giving private saxophone lessons at GSC.
